The FC Dallas Foundation is offering four grants worth $2,500 each to deserving non-profit organizations with similar missions to promote healthy, active lifestyles for North Texas youth. Applicants must focus on nutrition or healthy activity through sports, preferably soccer. The Foundation was currently accepting applications with a deadline the Jan. 20, 2017. Women's Sports Foundation and ESPNw: Sports 4 Life

The Sports 4 Life grant program, established by espnW and Women's Sports Foundation, is a national effort to increase the participation and retention of African American and Hispanic girls, ages 11-18, in development youth sports programs.
Sports 4 Life is an investment in the future of girls, enabling organizations across the country to make sports accessible while imparting four foundational benefits: leadership, self-esteem, confidence and perseverance. The grants will empower organizations to provide coaching, curriculum, equipment, uniforms, transportation, facility rental, tournaments and team-building activities, all while fostering the benefits of playing sports. Community Foundation of Greater Atlanta: Grants to Green
Grants to Green provides environmentally focused knowledge and funding to strengthen nonprofits. This partnership between The Community Foundation and Southface gives metro Atlanta nonprofits the opportunity to renovate or build healthier work places that are energy, water and environmentally efficient. The ultimate goal is to improve a nonprofit organization’s building structure to not only have less of an environmental impact, but also to increase the cost-efficiency of operations, ideally saving more finances to provide more services. Macy’s is proud to support organizations and to sponsor events that benefit philanthropic focus areas and communities across the country. Focus areas are arts and culture, education, the environment, HIV/AIDS and women’s issues.
My Macy’s District Grants and Event Sponsorships support nonprofit organizations and initiatives that are important to our individual local communities from coast to coast. Please note that applicants must be located in an area where Macy’s does business. Trustees for the Foundation meet four times a year to review funding requests.
Custom Web and Mobile Application Development Grant
December 31, 2017 deadline
The Gadfly Project is making available matching in-kind grants for non-profit organizations. The applicant is required to secure, or have available, funds of 50 percent of the project cost. This 1:1 matching grant is intended to assist organizations in developing custom web or mobile software to significantly increase the efficiency of the organization’s operations. Up2Us Sports Matters Grants
Up2Us is partnering with DICK’S Sporting Goods to support a new, youth sports initiative, Sports Matter. Sports Matter will accept applications from youth (K-12) sports teams that as a result of funding restraints, are no longer able to play, are on the brink of being cut, or have never existed despite youth interest. Selected teams will be asked to raise half the funds needed to operate their program for one year, and the other half will be provided through a matching grant once the goal is met. In addition to toolkits and other fundraising resources, teams will have access to support from Up2Us to help them build capacity and stability. Read More
